In November of 2010 we
started a project that would increase the teeing areas of the 4th
hole by more than 3000 square feet. The original tee area did
not offer a lot of useable area as well as the difference in the use
of clubs you want on a par 3. By enlarging the blue tee area
the hole can now play a five club difference depending on where the
tees and pin locations are. The lower left blue tee which was
enlarged from front to back as well as from left to right now allows
a different angle of play. The white tee was also enlarged by
more the twice it’s original size. The entire project took
about three weeks to complete and by doing this project in house we
estimate that we save the club about $60,000 in construction costs.
